The seminar was led by Professor Jirayudh Sinthuphan. It focused on a variety of topics about Bangladesh, for example, its historical background, economy, politics, culture and future collaboration with Thailand and other nations in South Asia and Southeast Asia. This half-day seminar was able to fulfill its aims in promoting the understanding between Thailand and Bangladesh as well as creating the public awareness about Bangladesh.
The event was attended by approximately 40 academics and students from Chulalongkorn University and other academic institutions. This gave the chance for them not only to discuss and share opinions about different aspects of Bangladesh but also to strengthen their ties so that they might be able to co-organize academic activities in the future.
