The overall activity of the programme is to create the linkage between conceptual idea and practical action. The conceptual idea will be exchanged in the 1st module which mainly focus on challenging issues of development, for instance, consumerism, indebtedness, inequality, social justice, climate change, chemical agriculture etc. Also, the participant will discuss on the topic of Right Livelihood and how the concept is implemented in different part of the world and share the successful stories which can be an inspiration for other participants.
Outcomes of the event:
1) The participants experience inter-cultural dialogue distilling concept and transforming knowledge into practice.
2) The community learned to systemized their local wisdom and became more resilient to consumerism and unfair market competition
3) The participants find a common understanding of the diversity of the concepts of well-being and happiness and to develop a direction to find their vision of development.
4) The participants gain practical knowledge from experiential learning in Southeast Asia, in which they cultivate new discoveries used as a basis for future research and project initiation in order to expand the knowledge in the field of right livelihood.
5) Build up network between Chulalongkorn University and civil society through the network of participants from each organization.
