International Conference "Coping with Dis-Integration: From the Perspectives of Local to Global"
The world has entered a globalizing era along with numerous trends of integration. Linkages, interconnectedness, and networks have always been said to be the main social, economic, cultural and political forms for further integration within expanding fields of human interactions. However, several decades of this so-called ‘globalizing and integrating’ era have also witnessed various phenomena and trends of disintegration which in some cases has led to the point where the conditions of failed state or state break down may ensue.
