Indonesia and Thailand diplomatic relationship has endured 60 years this year of 2010. It was in 1950 when the diplomatic relationship was formally established followed by the establishment of their diplomatic missions in both Capitals. During the sixty year period, corporation has been conducted in all sectors, among others, politics and security, economics, trade and education. Exchange of visits between Leaders of Indonesia and Thailand has developed a mutual understanding between the governments.
In this regards, It is realized that sixty year period is not enough for a settled cooperative relationship between our countries. Such a review may identify the achievements in the bilateral cooperation and also the challenges faced by both countries in the region and plan the future stronger cooperation.
